Over the past few months the Orlando Police Department's Economic Crimes Division has investigated several illegal and immoral companies in the Orlando area that are targeting our senior citizens. These companies are scamming the victims out of several hundred to several thousand dollars claiming to have buyers for the victims timeshares. With the weak economy and no turn around in sight the victims are eager to be free of the timeshares. Most of these illegal companies are targeting those age 65 or older who can no longer use or enjoy their existing timeshares.
